We still don't have a dedicated audio forum here so I'll post this question here.
Yesterday I imported an old VHS tape to my PC and made it into an MPEG2 movie. (For those interested it is U2 Live "Under A Blood Red Sky" from way back in '84. My first VHS tape purchase.
) I want to capture the audio and make it an MP3 file so that I can listen to it on my MP3 player (for those interested - IPOD NANO
).
Is there any freeware that can do this? My current sound device is the Realtek ALC codec on my MSI K8N NEO2 motherboard. If you know of a decent retail software package that can do this I'm all ears.
Thanks!
