Hi guys, my friend got this situation with the car dealer...

the loan has not gone thru but the finance department told my friend to wait, however, he is never there in the dealer place. (the secaretary claims he is on vacation) Is it like he's trying to trap my friend into it? Assume they do find the loan, then am I still obligated.

he, I is it you or him?

so is the Sales guy on vacation?
or is your friends/your secretary telling the dealership your friend/you are on vacation?

Get your lawyer to send them a letter. They should do this relatively cheap because they have these pre-made templates in which they just stick your basic info into. They'll send it registered mail. When received, they'll have to do somethign about it by having someone else take care of it. Car dealers are very shady, and I know of a former few in the computer business when I used to do shows (retired from selling cars). They sold junk but sold it well and made a good profit!!! :(
