How to bypass SIM activation on iphone 6s Plus?

Hi. My iPhone 6s plus arrived today, but my SIM card should arrive in a couple of days.
The problem right now is I can't access my phone because I can't get pass the SIM activation setup page. Is there a way to bypass this?

Borrow a SIM from a friend. Go to any cell phone store and ask them to activate it.

I have old/inactive SIMs that still work to activate a phone, even though my phone number is no longer associated with them.
