agreed, from what I've seen the top one only or either the top two

Edit: try looking at similar suits on the GQ site or a similar fashion website

just dont button the bottom button, :).

what color is your tie? i would suggest a bright more foward tie rather than dull and boring.

I never care how many buttons the candidate has buttoned. Never a deciding factor on the employment.

see with the dark blue... i would go with a more brighter tie, something with a splash of bright green or yellow

with the white shirt i would go with the solid red or blue or even a all yellow tie.

i am assuming your suit is black?

also... i should mention it also depends on the type of job you are appliying for...

if its something that is conservative, go with the conservative approach, but if its a more openminded atmosphere it is good to show that you are a agressive go getter.

yep. i'm going with a black suit

the tie i'll be wearing with the dark blue shirt is actually pretty right i guess my explanation isn't great.

i was going to go for an all dark red tie with the white shirt but this tie i found looks pretty good. when i say red / blue. i mean it has large thick dark red stripes with large dark blue stripe every so often.

You really can't go wrong with classic black on any occasion. It's about time this "adage" be taken out behind the barn.
