how to burn copies of cd games?

Here's the dilemna. I have two boys (8&6),2 computers, and only one Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 game. I tried to make a copy of it so they could each play on their own computers. However, when I go to burn a disc I get a message that says one or more tracks on the source cd cannot be read and the operation aborts. What's up here? I've copied games before, not only for this reason but also because, generally speaking, cd's and kids don't get along like you'd hope. It's not long before the $40 game disc has enough scratches to render it useless. Anyway, my question is, how do I make a back-up copy of this game? I've already tried just copying files and folders to the disc, but when I go to play the game with the copy disc, I get a message "cannot read drive D: Please insert disc and try again." Can anyone help? Hope this isn't to bold on my part. Perhaps I should have been more cryptic? Thanks for any help you can offer!

click here -->:) for help.

(the "no-cd" idea might be good for you since you can store the physical CD safely away while both sons "shred")

Use the prog called Nero and under the option in Nero there is a check called Ingnore Illigal TOC
check that box and then copy
BOOM your copy works

Have you looked for a NoCD patch on gamecopyworld? I put in a No CD patch for most of my games because I think it is a pain in the butt to pull out a CD every time I want to play.
