How to burn CD audio in Media Player 11

Hi guys

My dad have ripped a lot of music i Media Player 11, and want to make come mixed audio CDs.

However, Media Player 11 defaults to .wma format, which cannot be played in his CD player.

I cannot figure out how to change the format to Red Book CD Audio. The help files simply state that it is possible to burn Red Book, but not how (Seriously, has anyone ever gotten useful advice from a Microsoft help file?)

Does one of you guys know how? The logical place to change the burn format would be in the Burn manu, but no luck.

You can change the rip format to mp3 under the options>rip music>change format.
Also, if you burn an audio cd, it should play like a normal cd (not mp3 or wma) in any player.
When you click on the BURN tab, it should say Audio CD

In WMP 10 it is in the BURN section of the menu. Audio CD (cda) is not a format, but a pointer. Check to see if your dad's CD player handles MP3 files. All mine do, including in the car. That way you can burn over 7 music CDs to a single disk.

Tnx for the replies guys.

There is no Audio CD pointer in the Burn menu :-(

Ripping is not a problem, but the CD player does not support MP3.

In WMP11, Chocu1a's clip is accurate. In order for the Audio CD choice to appear, a burner has to be connected and ON.
