I have a plextor 16x10x40a, and i would always have to copy image to hd first before it copies to the recordable.

My DVD rom is pioneer 116 and it is only rated at 16.4x. I guess it can't do 16x burn on the fly option. Does anyone know if the Kenwood trueX is a good cdrom? I read the comments on cdspeed2000 website, and they didn't really like it reading cd-r.

my pioneer 16x dvd rom will allow me to copy to my yamaha 16x at 16x. are these scsi or ide? mine are scsi by the way

Man that drive sucks...My liteon 16x48x dvd-rom rocks at 37.2x on that list...Pioneer should be ashamed for a drive that cd reads at 40x and get that type of dae ripping...

I notice my old kenwood 42x wasn't on there but I successfully on the fly burned a cd rip at 12x....The kenwood 52x only shows 11.1x...I wonder why????
