Who said fanless computing was hard to achieve? 😎

Love the simplicity. I wouldn't use a 54W CPU in the Euler though

What is the point in this thread?
Are you asking or are you teaching?

If your asking, it would help if you listed out what components you intend to house, and a budget.
However when you specify a budget id then be prepared to double it, if you want a mostly fanless, and 2.5x it, if you want a truely fanless.

Like aigimorla stated, the OP's post is pretty non-descriptive (are you asking a question, or making a statement?).

But I will add I have never understood trying to make a totally fanless PC. A person can at least put 2-3 fans in there (one on the CPU cooler, one exhaust, and one intake), and run them at like 500 RPM where you would not be able to hear them at all.

For example, a Noctua NF-A14 ULN can be run at 650 RPM, and only produces 9.1 dBA. So a person could run them at 5v, which would decrease their RPM to 375, which not even the pickiest person would be able to hear.

At same voltage Noctua NH-A14 ULN reached maximum airflow level of 23.04 cubic metres per hour at only 375 revolutions per minute. Of course the fan was absolutely silent.

Personally, I offer three explanations: he wasn't paying attention and forgot to give us a link. Or -- he was stoned. Or -- he had one too many. Or-- he's old like I am, and his fingers slipped.

A thread with no question and no statements.
