How to build a e-commerce site using ASP.NET?

I know ASP but i haven't build a e-commerce site before, since ASP.NET is the talk of the town nowadays, can anyone refer me to some website or books that shows you how to do this? Thanks alot.

look for THIS BOOK in your local book store, i wouldn't order off Amazon.com because the house around the corner has the same house number.........those bastards.

that Jesse Liberty guy must be pretty smart, he wrote this ASP book, he wrote my C# book he wrote LOTS of C++ books such as "teach yourself C++ in 24 hours"

Thanks i just picked up Jesse Liberty 's C# book yesterday, what a nice read , it's among the best programming book i've read. I'm trying to decide betweenthis and the one you mentioned.

i would go with the one i said because it's published by O'Reilly. every O'Reilly book i have ever seen was simple to follow but very thorough and informative

I'd get a general ASP.Net book and a book that specifically deals with building an E-Commerce site with ASp.Net. Wrox, Sams, Reilly, etc are all good publishers. Go to Barnes & Noble or Borders and browse through the books to find the one whose style you like the best, then buy the book from bookpool.com. They have really good prices.
