how to build a dvd duplicator.

friend at works makes video's, wedding's etc. she is very knowledgable with electronics, wants to build a dvd replicator, what all does she need.
also needs to have some copy right protection.

AFAIK the only copy protection available to home users is CSS which was cracked a long time ago. Even the current "new" protections have been cracked so you may not have any option there. I'm not sure but you may also need authoring media to use CSS.

You can get a 3 drive DVD Duplicator for $399. That's probably a better route then building a PC just to dupe discs. If you already have a PC, there may be a program that could burn to multiple drives at the same time.

You married? If so, you probably know that everything with the word 'bridal' in front of it is twice as much (if you're lucky) as normal stuff. I'm sure that most people just want to pay for one copy of their wedding DVD and burn copies for their friends.

lol, its for someone at work, she does alot of video stuff, im not sure why she wants the copy protection thing, she just asked, any/all help/info would be appriciated.
