I just listened to the headphones when i first got them, and when i went to sleep, i kept the music pumping through them at slightly louder than normal levels.

With the ksc-35, the difference after 24 hours of burning in will be incredible.

people disagree on how it should be done. but... i'm pretty sure just listening will work. preferably something with deep bass/high treble.

I have an old pair of Koss PRO/466 and I just plugged them in and they worked fine.

I'm not a pro, though a cheap stereo will bug the hell out of me... but those headphones seem ok to me

of course they'll work fine. burning in just loosens the drivers out. bass tightens up, mids smoothen out, and highs can become less harsh.

Just leave music (preferable something with a lot of range, but it really doesn't matter) playing 24/7 for a day or two.

how does 24/7 for a day or two work exactly?? :D jk

anyway, when i "broke" my headphones in, it did sound better, could it be just in my head? who knows, but it sounds better to me then in the beginning, so no complains.

breaking in is just listening to usually bass-heavy music at louder volumes. Often times it's just you getting used to the headphones' sound, though, but sometimes there is a noticeable break-in (my speakers had a REALLY noticeable break-in)
