How to boot into DOS with Win2k?

Ok, I'm trying to use Norton Ghost and it says I have to boot into DOS first. I can't figure out how to do this. Any of the boot disks I've tried (for Win2k or 98) don't work on both my laptop and desktop - I get "invalid system disk." I have the four system disks but those don't boot into DOS, they go directly into setup. So how the hell do I boot into does

win2k doesnt have a real "dos mode" it only has dos emulation which can do most of the simple dos functions and runs most of the dos programs fine but without sound

this is because win2k isnt built on the foundation of dos like 98 so if you want dos you need 98
