How to boot from CD after restart

I want to reformat my computer so how do i boot from the cd after start?

Go into Bios. Its an F key to get into it. Make cd-rom first under boot sequence.

Usually the delete key. If not, then F1 or F2.

I want to reformat but when i go into windows it wont work so if i restart my computer shouldnt there be a button to start from the cd??? WINDOWS XP

You need to get into the BIOS first to change the boot order. Check out your mobo manual or computer manual to find out how to get into the BIOS. If all fails, call tech support for your computer or mobo. Good luck.

Hi, Go to the drive that has the CD and run SETUP if it's there. A boot from the CD is the best idea. Jim
