How to blow $4000 in one hour

I want it too - do you have HDTV available in your area, vi, or are you just planning for the future?

Comcast has HDTV available here, but my parents can't see spending >$60/mo. for cable, even though they have a digital ready TV (Sony VVega KV-36XBR400).

I was "allowed" to get the TV because she was "allowed" to get the bedroom furniture.

Gotta compromise ya know :)

The local news broadcasts in HDTV...but anywho it's for my Xbox and the future hopes of getting a HDTV receiver for my Direct Dish.

Now if you didn't have a wife you could have spent the entire $4,000 on a real tv -- a plasma tv. :p

That's not blowing $4 grand. Blowing 4 grand is going into a casino and leaving with a house note. ;)

That's the kind of ride home that makes the telephone pole look so attractive. ;)
