How to block sponsored ads in Facebook?

JEDI

Lifer
I use both Chrome and Internet Explorer.
I have adblock plus installed on both but its not working.

I still see sponsored ads on my newsfeed.
How do I block them?

thx

Even with AdBlock Plus i'd recommend clicking on it, then click options, then uncheck "Allow Acceptable Ads". You'll see a lot less with that turned off.

Add this to your custom filter list in Adblock

Code:
facebook.com#?#[id^=hyperfeed_story_id_]:-abp-has(a[href*="client_token"])
facebook.com#?#[id^=hyperfeed_story_id_]:-abp-has(a[href*="utm_campaign"])
didn't work.
still see the sponsored ads in Chrome.
How do I add a custom filter in adbock plus for IE?

do u see Facebook sponsored ads in your newsfeed with uBlock?
I don't use Facebook. I do know there are 2 Fanboy's social lists filter lists that I can add that may work but would probably break things you need. You could look and see if Ablock Plus has them available.
