More than likely using any of the alternate software puts you on the "must be trying to hide something therefore terrorist" list.

This,

the authorities are more technologically advanced and powerful than you are and with little effort they can track you when needed, and if caught hiding you will become suspicious which means they will keep eye on you exactly, not sure if that is better rather than passing through some packet scanning sever.

They'll just ask the ISPs for your traffic and some intern/contractor can listen in on your phone calls.

not sure why they added windows OS to that list.
I don't use google chrome anyway, even if it is fast at rendering stuff. I use pale moon.

using google for me is kinda neccesary because those secure search engines that you listed don't have the kind of reach in my country.

As for the DNS, i think i am going to change my DNS to one of the other ones.

What the hell is darknet? o_O

Yes i use gmail and yahoomail, but those accounts were created way back when i was a naive kid. I'm gonna stop using gmail now.

I already use thunderbird.

I dont use maps.

I don't use cloud.

Yes i am on facebook. but i am not one of those people who go around putting pictures of pizzas and putting how many tablets of viagra they need to get it up in "About me". My facebook has just a profile picture, my DOB and my city.

Flickr, tumblr and instagram is for immature girls and attention whores.

Document collabaration? lol.

I don't own a smart phone.

I don't own a mac.

I guess i'm pretty safe.

No thanks. I think I'll just keep doing what I was doing before. By letting them know that I'm not a person of interest I'm freeing up NSA resources to find actual terrorists.

:hmm: That seems like something a terrorist would do to divert suspicion. Better watch you extra close

It's better if you use the common stuff but write with codes if you're a terrorist, you'll never make a light go red this way since they watch metadata.
Unless you're sending e-mails to terrorists I guess.

1) which one of you didn't alredy think/know/suspect that others (whoever they might be) might be able to see your online/phone/life crap?

2) why do you give a damn?

i mean, aside from the rapists on atot who might come to your bedroom while you're sleeping and touch your weiner; what are you doing that makes you (think that you're) so special that anyone cares about you?

I would suggest one of these:

100% guaranteed to be impervious to electronic surveillance (Provided the message was written by hand or typewriter)

Reminds me of this quote.

“Did you really think we want those laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt. Now that's the system, Mr. Reardon, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with.”

It's not like Russia is one of the biggest source of spam, identity theft and other assorted cyber crimes directed at the common person. o_O

Yandex is a legit company, not a server in some Ukrainian's closet. Google or any other red/white/blue company is just as likely to be hacked.
