I use the official windowsupdate.microsoft.com to keep my copy of XP home edition up to date. I have a question though. It seems as though it is a web-based update, although it also seems as if it is downloading the files to my hard-drive. I would like to know where it stores the update files so I can back them up in case I ever have to reinstall the OS, I can just rerun the updates locally rather than sitting through hours of updating across my 56k connection. Any ideas?????
