I've never dealt with outlook express. I need to have it backed up for my client before I go on to reformat. All his email messages i need to save. Is there back up software I should use, or is there a wizard within the program that I can use to have it backed up? Help me out, in few hours i need to have it done.

Thanks.

so I've done that. But now the password box comes up and the guy has no idea what his password was. now technically, this isn't my problem, but it would be nice to fix. Any suggestions on getting the pass?

Assuming it is xp, you normally only have to backup two locations:

C:\Documents and Settings\?Username here?\Application Data\Identities\?Search through different identities until you find Outlook Express?

-In this folder you should see a bunch of different files with the names of each folder (inbox, outbox, ect)

Also don't forget the address book:

C:\Documents and Settings\?Username here?\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Address Book

These files are hidden, and must be allowed to be seen in Folder Options.

Or you can try using Password Revealer located here to get the password from outlook express and just use the oebackup thing:
