how to avoid redirection to macromedia flash site?

I seek technical help in accessing the Internet at public hot spots, like the coffee been - coffee shop, and Mc Donalads In Israel.
My PDA establishes connection and gets an IP address.
I open my browser and get redirected to the ISP welcome page. this page probably contains macromedia flash, so then my browser is directed to macromedia site to download flash.
I dont want flash, and can't install it on the pda.
I use embedded konqorer.
