if u dont go to that univeristy, screw them. rent a cops can't enforce tickets.so they send u a threatening letter. whooppee. it's not like they can suspend your license or anything

Many public universities (at least in Ohio) have police that are at the state level rather than city or local or even just university police. In some senses they are worse in that their jurisdiction is not confined to a small city or whatever.

Heh, I've received 3 parking tickets that had screwed up plate numbers on them, didnt pay even one of them. My plate must be really confusing to read.

At UCD, they have a link with DMV, so if you don't pay the ticket, you'll pay it + penalties/late fees when you register your car. (used to be a enforcement nazi there)

i used to leave an old ticket on my windshield if i parked illegaly, it usually works if i'm in a rush for a few hours. either that, or i photoshop a friends permit.

My school had a violation for that (I can't remember what it was called, and I doubt it was truly legal (are you required to remove a ticket?)) anyways the fine was not cool.

that's how it is at my school (CSULB). My $25 ticket turned into $55 🙁

fyi, a vigilant ticket nazi would look at the old ticket, note the date, then issue you a new one in the same envelope. (written a few of those before)

If cars were there when you parked, and none were there after it probaly means you parked in a zone where there is only parking between certain hours. The fact you can hardly describe the situation leads me to believe you rarely park in that area and have no clue.
Chalk it up to newbie mistake and pay the thing.

lmao thats awesome. The 30 days to pay their original ticket is almost up so they bring it to the PoPo station, slide out like 7 tickets. lol. I'd bug out.

Had a guy follow me around the campus outskirts (I guess he wanted to talk to me). Finally ditched him when I went in campus and the gate closed behind me 😉

Found out later that he had a permit, but placed it UNDER his front bumper
