I have my DVD collection copy to my hard drive this way: each movie has its own folder and inside that folder I just copied the DVD?s VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders and files. So they?re basically the same structure as regular DVD, but just reside on the hard drive.
With this method, Windows XP MCE would automatically launch the DVD folder when I click on it (through ?My Video? option) and play it as if it were a regular DVD. However, now that I upgraded to Vista, Vista?s Media Center can?t do this anymore. Are there any settings or registry tweak that I can mess with for Vista MC to be able to do this?
I know I should just rip the DVDs to save space, etc., but storage space is not an issue right now and I prefer to keep everything intact.
