How to attach thermal probe

I am building a computer for my cousin, and there are 3 thermal probes in the case that display on the front. But there is no tape that came with them to attach them to anything. What kind of tape is safe to use to attach the probes to a processor, memoy, etc? Electrical tape? Masking Tape? Scotch tape? I'm concerned because I wouldn't want it to melt or anything under hot temps...
