Windows 10 already allows you to pin a lot of programs onto the taskbar. Using this feature you can easily launch much-used programs, such as your browser. In case you want to access any website quickly without opening a browser first, Windows 10 allows you to add a URL field to your taskbar. Here’s how to add a URL field to your taskbar in Windows 10.
Step 1
Right Click On The ‘Task Bar’ To Unlock It
First, you should right click on the taskbar. In the pop-up menu which appears, locate the menu item ‘Lock the taskbar’ . This should be checked by default. Click on it to uncheck it.

Step 2
Right Click Again And Select ‘Toolbars’
Once you have unlocked the taskbar, right-click again to pull up the same menu. From this, click on ‘Toolbars’ . A submenu will open.

Step 3
Click On ‘Address’
From the above submenu, click on the ‘Address’ option. The URL field will appear in the taskbar immediately.

Now you can type in any URL you want to visit directly into this box without needing to navigate to a browser first. Any URL you type in will be automatically opened in the default browser of your system. Further, if you want, you can remove the URL field by following the same steps again.
