How To Add Quick Contacts To Start Menu In Windows 10

Save time and clicks by pinning your favorite people to the Start menu. Follow the simple steps in this tutorial to pin the people you speak with the most to the top of the start menu and have them handy whenever you need them.

Step 1
Enter the ‘People’ Menu

Click on the 'Windows' logo to pop-open the Start menu and once there, choose the ‘People’ menu. This choice will grant you access to the contacts you have stored in your Windows 10.

Step 2
Choose the Person Name

Click on the name of the person you want to add as a quick contact on your Start menu to choose it from the list. Simply right click on the person´s name to bring up the side menu and pin him or her to the top.

Step 3
Pin the person to the Start

Click on the first option of the menu and pin the person to the start. Once you select the option from the menu, it will collapse, and another dialog will pop-up in your screen.

Step 4
Say yes to the pop-up menu

The confirmation menu will pop up on your screen; click on ‘Yes’. Once you´ve clicked on yes, the entire menu will collapse and the person will be automatically pinned to your Start menu.
