How to add/change icons for webpages saved in bookmark toolbar in Firefox?

I am finally getting onto Firefox due to the fact that on the bookmark toolbar, it will actually save the icons for different web pages, meaning that I don't have to type a description and can have many more in a single row.

However, some pages don't have icons. Is there any way that I can add icons to them? I really hope so...

And any interesting addons that make using this bar even better?

Also, how is IE7? My girlfriend liked having her own browser that I wouldn't clutter up with links etc, so I am thinking of trying IE7 myself to give her her browser back. Will it keep the icons for different pages permanently, like IE6 wouldn't? Thanks!

why not use separate user accounts if you're sharing the same computer?

you can use seperate user accounts in firefox? or you you mean in windows? i'm not too big of a fan of using different windows user accounts for some reason...
