How to add CDROM as a boot option in LILO?

Umm.. how do I add CDROM as a boot option in the LILO??
(me using mandrake7.0)

I haven't tried if it really works but you might try to add sth. like this to lilo.conf:

other=/dev/cdrom
label=cdrom

I did a bit research, this is not gonna work with GRUB or lilo. Selective booting from CD-ROM is in GRUB's wishlist...

Any particular reason? I'm just curious really..

I did my floppy drive as a selective boot, so that's not too bad. Just as quick as the hard drive if you install lilo/grub on it (NOT using the bootdisk/recovery floppy)
