My firm uses software that requires the gaming graphics cards. Apparently the RTX 4070/4080 is ideal. My employees HATE the business class laptops - We've tried lenovo, dell precision. They're enormous.
Basically, the only decently thin RTX laptop are the gaming laptops. Which almost all come with Windows Home (not Pro). We have office 365, and it won't let you login to windows home. It throws a msg saying that the Office 365 account isn't a "Microsoft" account. So every time I buy a laptop, I have to drag the IT guy out to format the thing and re-install Pro from scratch.
Is there some workaround? Like a "secret" way to upgrade the laptop from Home to Pro before/during the initial new user login screen?
