How to accurately benchmark MW3

I searched around I can't seem to find out how to do this. The benchmark numbers are everywhere but no one seems to show how to go about it.

Because there really isn't any good way to go about it.

The best thing to do is to use an in-game cutscene, preferably a long one, so it disallows player control and renders the exact same scene every time. That's how I think most sites get a consistent benchmark.
