Tell me the steps to access the default share drives of windows 7 in another windows 7 machine. I cant able to access my C$ in another windows 7 computer. Kindly give me the solution for this problem..

[Note: i access my c drive in another computer through "\\192.168.10.12\c$" but i cant able to access my C drive in another windows 7 computer]

If you have several computers connected in your house, just open Network and Sharing Center in your main computer, and utilize the Homegroup network. You can then put what folders you want to share on the main computer through the Homegroup network.

Unless of course I am misunderstanding what you are asking.

Well for one thing, going by the default RFC 1918 ranges typically handed out by wireless routers, they usually start with 192.168.1.1, not 192.168.10.1.

Normally the IPC shares, e.g. C$ are open, so it's possible that the default firewall settings of windows 7 is blocking the inbound request, otherwise the \\IP address\C$ IPC share should work.
