Folks,
Howdy. I bought and installed a BioStar M7NCD motherboard.

It works, but how do you access the BIOS?

The splash screen does [edit] NOT say a key to hit to enter the BIOS.

Thanks,

You wrote "The splash screen does say a key to hit to enter the BIOS." If so, use that key. But I assume you may have meant "did not". Did the mobo come w/ a manual? If so it s/b in there. The "delete" or F1 key often works, just start holding it down right after pushing the power button.

Turns out it was the Delete key. I'd already checked the manual and the Biostar website and searched Google, no information. A tech at a nearby computer store said it was the Delete key, thanks. :)

BioStar never answered this technical support line. :|

Good thing I went to the BIOS, as you have to manually set the M7NCD's FSB for the Barton 2500+ CPU to 166x2, the motherboard had it set to 133x2 so it had been running underclocked.

I have the same MB and I don't have a splash screen. That's a first for me!

biostar often times makes 2 bios versions for each board, one with a biostar spash screen and one without (other then the splash screen they are the same :) )

here is a link to the biostar page when you can choose which type you want link
