On some of those older Toshiba Pentium laptops there was a utility that came on either the Install CD or Floppy disk that you ran to get into the Bios. My old 225CDS and 220CDS are both that way. Both Pentium 133 machines, I have the utility here on a disk if it turns out that is the way on your 305CDS. I will see if I can find the into on yours and get back to you.
Ok checked and downloaded the manual. It uses tsetup.exe to enter the bios. I have it here. Is there a way I could file attach it to you? I have the manual also on my hard drive as a file. You copy tsetup.exe on a boot floppy and run it once you get to a dos prompt.
thx for kindly help
you can email it to noahxing@sbcglobal.net,
but I wonder if it works,
no matter I insert the startup disk or cd,it can't detect
so I think the hard disk is in the first sequence, but there's no OS on the disk now
