How times change. I like Arby's.

There was a time when I wouldn't eat anything from Arby's if I was starving to death and paid a brick of gold per gram of Arby's food (and allowed to spit it out before swallowing), but alas it's nearing the top of my list for favorite fast food. At least one of the local restaurants here has the nicest dining area of any fast food joint. And the curly fries are awesome. Their turkey club sandwhich is quite stellar and the chicken deluxe sandwhich is pleasing as well. Yum, yum!

The big roast beef one with all the cheese is the best.. although I would only eat it if someone paid for it.. never use my own money.

MMM Arby's. Yes their fries are the best of the fast food joints. I happen to think the BLT they make is the best!

I haven't eaten at Arby's in YEARS. What made you decide to try it again after being so anti-Arby, like I am now?

I ate a beef from there for the first time. Nothing like the roast beefs I get from the greek places in my town, but it was still very good for a fast food joint!

I think I was forced to one day because there was nothing else to eat when I was in the mall and I was rather impressed. I can't say all their menu items are good, as I stick to mostly what I like, but I think they are better than they used to be.

The one near me is just a bit too far away. (hot) Food gets cold before I can get it home. Thus, not often a choice. But i've ALWAYS liked arby's. Sometimes it doesn't like me though.

I've never eaten there before.. I think it may be the only fast food chain I haven't tried.

I just think it's too expensive.
I like McDonalds McDeals... they are literally 1/2 the price.

The french dip rules, as does the beef 'n cheddar.

Deluxe baked potato is also the best in the business.

I like the Market Fresh Turkey-Bacon-Ranch sandwich with curly fries. Oh yeah, hungry well before lunch again...

Truthfully I like that too. I can (or used to) eat a frightening number of beef /cheddar

Yeah what's with Arby's and Hardees (Carl's Jr.) moving upmarket??? The new Hardees ads are all bout "no more cheap beef" and "you gotta pay more to get more".

edit: lol, even with the move upmarket I just noticed our local Arby's is still doing the 5 RB sandwiches for $5.

I love Arby's Beef & Cheddar. Unfortunately, all the Arby's in the area closed down some years ago due to bad management (this from the brother of the owner). Now the nearest Arby's is over 300 miles away in Anchorage, and when family members go there they tend to bring bag several Beef & Cheddars. This is apparently not exclusive to our family, as an employee asked my sister when she picked up a bag of sixteen for the rest of us, "I bet these are going to Fairbanks, aren't they?"

I  the Horsey Sauce.

Their Market Fresh sandwiches are damn good, but also damned expensive. :(

I was a manager at an Arby's restaurant for a year-and-a-half and I must say even after all the eating I did there (unlimited free meals for managers) I would probably still eat there. Granted, the menu items get a little repetitive after awhile so I just created my own sandwiches like the barbecue chicken finger swiss and bacon sandwich. One word ::homer voice:: ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I miss working there. That was by far the best sandwich I'd ever had in my entire life. Sorry, it's not available to customers, not a menu item, although it should be. Everyone I ever made that sandwich for said it was great.
Anyway, just thought I'd pitch in my 2 cents... I'm willing to answer any questions you may have about Arby's as well. That is, of course, when I get home from work tonight sometime around 11:00 pm.
