How thick is the Galaxy Tab 89?

While the image of the slate wasn’t explicitly edited into looking thinner than it is, lighting tricks were most definitely used to add the illusion of its being much thinner. Now that it appears that Samsung’s integrity in presenting this sneak preview is somewhere in the same ballpark as their commitment to updating their phones’ firmware (hint:not the highest), does this change your outlook on the upcoming addition to the Galaxy Tab family?

Sure, but weight shouldn't matter past a certain threshold.

Unless you're telling me you can't lift 2lbs for at least 10 minutes...

I don't get the obsession of thinness and weight. I would much rather have a solid heavy and thick phone that is pleasing to hold on to.

When it's a device that is bigger than a phone but one you still would like to hold with one hand like a phone, it makes all the difference.

I think people are reading way too much into a freaking teaser ad.

why don't you just wait. when apple decorating the YB center for the ipad two. People were reading oh look there are more dots on one side than the other. OMG retina display for the ipad 2?
