Pretty sad stuff: FoxNews Article

"When you think Taliban, think Nazis. When you think Bin Laden, think Hitler. And when you think 'the people of Afghanistan' think 'the Jews in the concentration camps.' It's not only that the Afghan people had nothing to do with this atrocity. They were the first victims..."

Oh come on thats a bit melodramatic. Big difference between being told you can't, as a woman, have an education and being lined up in a gas chamber. Big difference between being used for medical experiments and being told you can't listen to music.

The taliban DOES suck BIG NUTS, but its not like living under hitler as a jew.

Reading the "taliban taboos" on MSNBC sickens me, however.

It's true, and that's why we need to be careful who we hit and who we help get on their feet. I think we need to think and take our time on this one.

Exaggerated or not, women should be treated just like any person. Saying they can't "because they're a woman"? :|

I wonder how many Afghan leaders are faithful to their wives? The Taliban is a perfect example of why government and religion should remain seperate.

I don't think there is 'infidelity'... they're a polygamous society.

I disagree... you're doing a disjustice to all those millions that died in concentration camps to people who are oppressed. There's a HUGE difference between genocide and oppression.
