Here is a preface.

Watch the first video several times. It's pretty horrific. It totally looks like some guy GUNS his car into a couple poor kids.

Terrifying isn't it?

Now let's see the REAL story, without the spindoctoring.

Oh WOW! Little hooded vigilantes with their parents / media in tow. I bet these 12 year olds came up with this on their own. Probably organized the camera crews too, right? It's suddenly clear that the driver tries to avoid them (several times). It's also clear that the guy probably feared for his life. All the while, adults have video cameras and photographers ready to record the carnage. Of course you don't see that in the first video. We cut straight from the car hitting the kid to him laying on the ground apparently seriously injured. Oh, hey, the adults even join in on the rock flinging.

The true moral to this story is that anyone who claims that one side or the other is in the right in these situations is delusional. Any story can be twisted around. Reminds me a lot of the so-called "peace" flotilla.

Perhaps we should all practice acting like soccer players after a slide tackle and screaming aieeeeee aieeeeee and grabbing some body part. Hope those adults had some of that magic soccer spray they use to make everything better in soccer games.

Notice how it is the kids throwing the rocks while the adults stand around and watch.

I guess a video of adults throwing rocks won't sell as good or make the Israelis look evil enough.

How is this newsworthy at all? Seriously, how many Americans got creamed by cars today, and died as a result, and Fox News is covering some Middle East hit and run that didn't even cripple the victim.

This isn't media spin, it's Fox News cutting out boring, completely irrelevant footage of some people standing around doing nothing and of the car driving away.

Is the green-shirted cameraman walking across frame and the zoom shot of the car driving away really pertinent to the story? Because that's all they edited out of the video.

Any chance you're pro-palestinian?

Or perhaps you're just naive, and can't see that this is a bunch of kids herded by adults, being told what to do. Or even that they go after the red car in the first video too....

Keep your eyes closed. You'll be happier in life without knowing what's really going on.

Not a news story? Wow. Grow up Mr. "Fail". At what point does it become news? When they get a cinderblock through the driver-side window and permanently maim the driver?

Wait... I'm sorry.... It doesn't hold a candle to American Idol. You're right. Can't be news.

Pulsar - if everyone who was in a car accident made the news, that's all that would be on the news...the location of this doesn't make it any more news-worthy than anything else
