And I wonder, would Mt Doom be the ONLY place where the Ring could go to be destroyed? What qualifies it as being within the boundaries of that mountain? Could they put it in any lava stream, or a subducting faultline?
What about a black hole? Would that destroy it properly? Dammit Tolkien, you left too many unanswered questions!
Didn't they say it's because it was forged at Mt Doom?
This is almost as old as the internet, but I agree it's still pretty funny.
It's like nobody even knows that all youtube movies have dates on them:

And we all should know Old's 2nd law: if it's more than an hour old, it's a repost
:awe:
where can one find old's laws? maybe they should be stickied.
oldsmoboat's 1st law
This law states that when a thread title says "Funny" or implies that it will be, it won't be.

The 2nd one isn't as popular... but I still maintain it's important
Well yeah, so then, where does Mt Doom start and end?Didn't they say it's because it was forged at Mt Doom?
