some trick requires trainings with hands for hours, while others requires you to have good charisma.

I think the best trick copperfield ever did was to hook up with that model.

He shows how he does some of the card tricks... like where he switches cards on people. The way he flips a card from one hand to the other with just a slight movement of his fingers. He's just SO good at it that you can't see what he's doing until he slows it down and shows you.

My wife swears hes the devil incarnate. I reluctantly agree. Magic or not, hes just got "that look" about him

Edit: granted we're not quite sure why the devil would choose to do card tricks and slight of hand tricks rather than simply bringing death, famine and pestilance.

As a card magician, the best part of a performance is listening to people discuss how the effect was done.

Yeah, I was very disappointed to hear of that one also. It's one thing for a magician to be able to pull off a believable trick, but it's another thing entirely to go back and edit the film to make it look believable. One requires a skilled magician, the other is just lame special effects on film.

i saw one where he through 3 cards at a window of some store front and the cards were stuck to it. Now here is the crazy thing the cards were stuck onto the other side of the glass :confused:

yeah he does insane card tricks. all the rest are crap stunts. but i'll bet as a kid that guy spent more time holding cards than his wang.

Yeah... I've made a handy diagram as to how he actually does the "levitation" here.

As you can see in section A he basically tip-toes with one foot and holds the other horizontally next to it. In B we see how he positions the audience such that they don't see the tip-toeing part and see the foot facing them list off the ground along with the heel of the other foot.

Try it yourself in the mirror, sometimes it actually works with drunk chicks :D

Actually, Blaine is a terrible card magician/manipulator. Yes, he has mastered about 4-5 basic sleights, including what is considered to be one of the most difficult card flourishes, but that is it. He is no Cardini, Paul Harris, Daryl Garcia, or Guy Hollingworth. You haven't seen card magic unless you've seen them perform.

I've said it hundreds of times now, and I stick with my comment: Blaine is a fantastic entertainer, but an average magician at best.
