Start > Control Panel > Printers and Faxes > Click on Printer in question

Click 'Printer' and select 'Cancel All Documents'. Shut off the printer and reboot the computer. Those things can be pesky basteeches.

Depends on what the HP is hooked up to. Windows, just use the double-click on printer icon and cancel. In unix, lpq -l and then lprm {jobid}

er, next time just do this, assuming you're running xp, go into services, and restart the tcp/ip print spooler service.
