How the hell do you fit 800 dogs and 80 parrots in a mobile home?

You've never seen a puppy mill. Probably stacks of five crates on top of one another with 5+ dogs stuff into each one.

edit - after reading the article, change that to 12+ dogs stuffed into a single crate.

Most "triple wide" prefab houses are over 2000 sq feet. Some can be over 3000 sq feet even. (max size per each trailer is about 16x80, so it's possible to have a triple wide that's 3840 sq feet. Though usually they are made out of 16x40 or 16x32 or 16x64 foot trailers.

Also, You can put them over a basement foundation. So if they had a "regular" sized triple wide at about 2200-2400 sq feet, and they had a basement, they'd have between 4400 and 4800 sq feet of floor. If they had one of those monstrous triple wides made out of 80 foot sections, then in theory, with a full basement, they could have 7680 sq feet of space. That's more than 9 sq feet per each dog.

As long as you're making shit up. Let's pretend they had 800 basement foundations and each dog got their own floor and color TV. And they had 80 attics and each parrot had their own attic.

We don't have basements around here.

Well no, he's right, except the usual single-wide width is 14 feet, not 16. Double- and triple-wides are usually 13.5' and 13.3' feet average per unit width, respectively, due to the lack of exterior walls where the units join. Minimum dimensions for a triple-wide are usually 40x40, or 1600 square feet. And larger, like 40x64 (2560) or 40x80 (3200) being more common.
People still buy mani's for a reason. You get more square footage for your dollar. Especially if you live in rural or remote locations, where site-built costs become prohibitive. People still say "mobile" home, a la the old trailer park, but that's really a misnomer. Except for almost always being 1-story ranch designs, modern prefab homes can be nearly indistinguishable from site-built.

And yes, some do have basements. It's rare, but they exist. I've even seen one with a daylight basement.

On topic, all I can say is :Q

I wouldn't be doing so well if I were a cop responding to that.

Judging from your past postings in animal cruelty threads the dogs and parrots would be doing even worse.

Oooohh ... So like, the triple wides were built on top of an old ICBM silo, and they have skyscrapers on top of them to use as attics? I like the way you think!
