how the hell do you change windows icons?

I downloaded some REALLY neat icons from here, but I can't use them under Win2K! wtf! (I know this belongs in a different forum, but if it goes here then people will actually check it)
 
Just do a search for .ico files (they are in the windows directory somewhere) and then put the .ico files you want to use in that directory. Right click on the icon you want to change and select properties, then change icon. It will be in that directory, or browse to the directory you unzipped it to. No problem.
 
Have you tried to go Star/Settings/Control Panel/Fonts ? this usually works for me. Hope this helps you to solve your problem!🙂
