so I was cleaning out my parents storage unit and found a freakin ton of g.i. joes from when i was a kid. So i sold them on ebay. Now I am just curious how the heck do i package the things to ship them? Do i put big lots of them together in baggies and then use bubble wrap. Just curious if there were any action figure collectors around here who might know. I just don't want the things bouncing around the whole time i want to figure out a way to ship them relatively safely.

i'd love to do that but there is 160 of those little freakin guys it would take me forever to wrap them and it would take a lifetime for the guy who bought them to unwrap them all. I think i might try lining the inside of the box with bubble wrap and then use bubble wrap and paper and baggies.

i was just joking. dude, they're used gi joes...shiping them all thrown in a box with some padding won't hurt them.

that is what i thought but apparently there is a huge secondary market for them like the 160 lot i sold went for what i thought big money. They sold for more money now than 16 years ago when i bought them and i got to play with them. Damn good investment if you ask me.

look at the items that sold that are similar if they sell for more than $5 profit (not including shipping paypal and ebay fees) then I would do individual. If not then do a lot.

He already sold them...

Perhaps ask the buyer? Tell him you're not a collector but you don't want to mess them up so see if there's any established protocol.

Dang, you beat me to it!!! :p

YOU don't ship G.I. Joe. You give him his orders and Joe will chart it out on the map, call the dropship on the Sat Phone and parachute into the AOR. Go Joe!!! :D

I also have a bunch of teenage mutant ninja figurines and about 10,000 baseball/football/hockey cards.... i wish it didn't take effort to sell them. i guess i'll let them appreciate some more til im bored and/or run out of money.

oh and don't get me started on my garbage pail kids collection. those are not for sale! :D
