How the hell do I keep the AVS from coming up everytime I click on a song in winamp??!

I'll turn a song on.. then turn the plug in off or "start/stop plugin" then i click the next button and then the AVS visualtion thing pops up again!! I have it set it to shuffle if that matters... if anybody could help me i'd really appreciate it!
