How the heck do you turn on folder premissions in windows xp pro?

I've got the dumbed-down UI and I just want to set premission on a folder not in the My Documents directory. anyone?

go to tools folder options then click on the view tab
go to the bottom and turn off simple file sharing.

that should give you what you desire

I think you need to have the partition concerned formatted in NTFS too.
