How the heck do you delete from playlist AND library at same time

Using WinXP, how the heck do you delete it from your HD once you choose to delete it from your playlist? I tried to delete some duplicate track from the "Music Library" but it wouldnt delete it from my hard drive.

You have to delete it from the library. Deleting from the playlist only deletes it from that specific playlist.

You must not have read my post. I did say i deleted from the "Music Library"

I believe that iTunes will only delete the underlying file from your HD if you have it set to manage your music folder.

EDIT: Try pressing SHIFT + DELETE in Windows when deleting the song.
