Because if you do...in 3 months I will be sitting in your seat and you will be looking for a new job.....now go get me a coffee bitch!

and
this is a repost , i was asked this in my last interview

you can always turn it around and say "the only reason i could think of for you not to hire me is if your NOT looking for a" ...and proceed to list all your good qualifications and reasons why you would be perfect for the job

You can reply with: "cause i'm a doofus and cant answer a simple question without going to ATOT and ask everyone else".

Speaking of job interviews, Ameesh, I'm applying for summer employment at MS, did you do that before you got hired? Is it true they ask nonsensical interview questions like "How would you program your microwave from your computer?" I'm kinda curious as to what the atmosphere is like on the MS campus. Care to share your experiences?

Yeah I did an internship in the Visual C++ Group.

If you are applying for a Program Manager position expect questions like that. I wouldn't consider them nonsensical as the interviewer usually has something he/she is looking for when they ask questions like that. Like how the candidate deals with vauge requirements or impossible situations etc. Dev interviews are pretty technical and in my opinion MS Interviews are the hardest in the Industry. (I say that after interviewing with comapnies like IBM, MS, Amazon, etc. and getting offers from them)

The atmosphere is great, my internship was one of the best summers i've had, I made a lot of new friends and learned a whole lot. The people are generally friendly and very knowledgeable. The facilities are great and they (the company) goes out of their way to make you happy (They throw tons of parties and such for new people). As an intern i was even invited to Gates' house for dinner with him and many of the executive staff.

The work is challenging but worthwhile as you will be working on software that is going to ship. (which is cool in its own right) All in all, one of the best things i did, because i learned a lot, had fun, made a lot of money, and was able to get tons of full time job offers because I had a successful internship.
