How the heck do I send the UPC off Duster Air for a rebate!?

WTF? CrapUSA has the Memerox canned air FAR. I bought it and took it home assuming the UPC was some sort of sticker. Apparently not, its printed on the actual metal can. Do they expect me to dremel the can after i'm done using it!? I'll give em a call later :frown:

I walked down to CompUSA to get their FAR CD-labeler and NIC, and I was going to get the canned air, but I noticed that the UPC was painted on, so I decided to forego that item.

I asked one of the employees and he said that in the past, they've accepted copies, so that's what I'd do - either scan + print it, or copy it.

Oh wow, that's a little shortsighted. 😛 I've bought two FAR cans at CompUSA before and both times, the rebate form required the original register receipt.

I guess a different promo company's handling those Memorex ones, huh?

most places accept the numbers written out or just copy it and include the note informing them it was impossible to send the orig upc
