EDIT: Nevermind
Title basically says it all. I have an original Scythe Ninja on my ePox s939 MB. I'm trying to remove the HS so I can install my newly purchases Opteron 165, and have been thoroughly defeated by the Scythe.
I see the four clips holding the HS in place. I see the plastic mounting plate the clips are attached to. I have no idea how to remove the clips from the plastic plate. I can pull the clips towards me, which does nothing but start to bend the clips. I can push them down more, which pushes the hooks gripping the plastic mounting plate further towards the middle of the heatsink, the opposite of what I want to do. I can stick a screwdriver down the channels in the top of the heatsink and push onto the pins, but that seems to do nothing as well.
Help! (please).
