Time to dump iPoop and get a real MP3 player. Any company that restricts that way I handle the music I paid for with an MP3 player I paid for, does not deserve a single cent from me. Just my $.02

They don't restrict it. They just don't do it in iTunes. For stuff like that, there's ephpod.

So what's your next anti-iPod argument?

iTunes 7 automatically checks the Library on the computer and compares it to the Library on the iPod. Any music on the iPod not on the PC - iTunes will ask if you want to copy it to the PC. (New for version 7 AFAIK) My PC got formatted, unfortunately, the other day and I went through all this trouble to get a File Explorer of sorts for the iPod. Copy all the music, then boot up iTunes with my iPod still plugged in only to see that nifty little message. I about crapped myself. :(

Wow, man. "iPoop". That's pretty highbrow. How many writers do you have working for you? How many are in the third grade?

Ephpod.

That's pretty sh|tty though. With my 1gb Sandisk mp3 player it works just like a flash drive. All I have to do is drag music onto the drive and it'll play. If you want to organize the music you just make separate folders.

It's just as easy to copy music off of it as it is to copy music to it. Everything is left as you put it. It doesn't reorganize the music into tons of hidden folders and rename the files.

Also my mp3 player has an FM radio and a voice recorder. Came with a case and an arm band. Oh and it only cost me $35 shipped.
