HOW THE FVCK DID I SCRATCH MY T40P LCD??? Boooohoooo :( <SEVER DEPRESSION><severe PAIN><severe ACHE>

I was cleaning my LCD and found a scratch on the top right corner of my T40P's LCD. It is very close to the LCD casing and at first i thought it was dust..after repeated wiping, i discovered that it was a scratch!! NOW HOW THE FCK DID THAT SCRATCH GET THERE. I never had anything hit the LCD PANEL or had ANYONE else use my laptop WTF HAPPENED? I AM SOO PISSED aaahh guys help me...
THANK GOD IT IS NOT VISIBLE unless i turn the monitor off, stick my eye about 1 CM from the Screen and use a bright flashlight to shine on the scracth.


I really want to killmyself and incarnate myself and my T40p with me. GUYS PLEASE TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED? i am goona cry...depress and regress....BOOOOOO

Consider the possibility that your T40p's screen was already scratched when you received the unit. Since the scratch is so close to the LCD casing, you might not have noticed it previously.

I disagree, it is the end of the world, freak out man!!!!

I have a Dell Latitude that has a scratch at the very center of the screen from the damn eraser head pointer. I took that POS off as soon as I saw what was happening. I about brought the laptop back to my boss so he could get me another one...but decided against it.

AS long as you don't have any dead pixels it doesn't matter.

2 out of the 3 T40p's I ordered had a damn dead pixel. The only 1 Made in Mexico had a nice screen, but the lid creaks a little when opening and closing. It is just very hard to get a perfect laptop. Gotta pick out the defects you can live with.
