How the F do i close norton protection center

I am trying to close norton protection center because it is messing with a network share but I cannot find an option to just close the damn program. It won't even let me ctrl alt dlte and end the process. I know it is halting the network share so i need to either close the program or figure out how to let norton let the share through. Just a plain shared folder on a network.
 
Why not spend a few minutes configuring the firewall options, or simply disable it for x amount of time.
